Sounds Like San Diego: October 8

I know I'm biased, but holy Casbah! Do you see the quality shows that Mr. Mays brings to you, San Diego? Imagine what this town would be like without him, it would be like the Wild West! Tonight there are plenty of shows around town, but three of the best are all brought to you by the Casbah. Jimmy Lavalle moved up north a while ago, but that doesn't mean he's forgotten about us, and the Album Leaf's shows have been selling out across the country, so why his hometown isn't sold out makes no sense whatsoever, but take advantage and see this intimate show in the historical Mississippi Room. At the Casbah, Star Slinger comes to San Diego, and while that's a great show, I have to say your mind will be blown if you see the other Casbah Presents show tonight at Soda Bar. Mucca Pazza is a 30-plus member band of former high school band geeks who came together to create an amazing band experience, complete with mismatched band uniforms. They performed one of my favorite shows of 2010, and I can only imagine how wonderful they'll be at the Soda Bar.
