Wednesday is a huge night in San Diego, arguably one of the biggest parties of the year (if you didn't get it all out of your your system last weekend). Sure, there are some people who take the kids trick-or-treating or stick around home to greet the costumed ghouls and goblins and adorable princesses, but there are plenty of grownups who will be out on the town to party big. Fortunately there are some great shows around to help you maintain your rock & roll cred. At 4th & B, the goths will celebrate "a strange kind of love" with Peter Murphy, while Soda Bar gets down with some mock-up tribute bands. For those of you just wanting to avoid Halloween madness, catch former San Diegan Anya Marina with Ben Sollee at Lestat's, or see Grace Potter and the Nocturnals at the House of Blues, and for those ready for all-out costumed bashes, head to Bar Pink for the Night Marchers or the Casbah for a rock night headlined by the always costumed Creepy Creeps. It's going to be a very good night, so be sure to designate a driver and be safe out there when the fog rolls in.
Wednesday, Oct. 31:
The Creepy Creeps, the Cramp'd, Low Volts, Stephen Rey & the Sex Trash @ Casbah
Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Rayland Baxter @ House of Blues
