I'm not sure when exactly we decided that Halloween was an adult holiday instead of one for kids, but since the actual holiday falls on a weeknight, you can be sure that this weekend will be pretty nuts with costumed parties and general revelry. You can join in on some of the fun while still supporting local rock & roll if you head to the Casbah tonight. There's a solid lineup with the pschedelic sounds of Black Hondo, the dirty rock of Deadly Birds and the country-tinged rock & roll of the Blackout Party. In addition to being a talented musician, Tim Lowman (Low Volts and bassist of The Blackout Party) is a talented artist and will be airbrushing zombie faces all night long. In other shows, Two Door Cinema Club play a sold-out show at Soma, Dead Feather Moon and the Heavy Guilt team up for a night of rock at Winston's and the Widows, the Lumps and Roach Spit rock out at the Tower Bar.
