Tonight you can enjoy great local music while also supporting a great cause: Head up to the Belly Up to see Matt Curreri, Michael Tiernan and more as they support Banding Together, an organization that takes monetary donations as well as donations of musical instruments. The organization then gives music-therapy scholarships to eligible kids with special needs, hooks them up with instruments and connects them with local musicians as mentors. If you've got any gently used instruments laying around, you'd be hard pressed to find a better way to give them a new life.
