Thursday night is a respectable night to get out on the town without being judged too harshly by coworkers in the morning, so head up to the Belly Up for the Austin, Texas, metal band the Sword or catch the Jesus Lizard's David Yow with one of his many other projects, Flipper, at the Casbah. La Santa Cecila will turn the Price Center Ballroom at UCSD into a fiesta of cumbia and boleros, while Soda Bar gets a little bit country with Sara Petite. There are plenty of shows to keep you entertained as these warm evenings continue and before touring season begins to really slow down.
