There are so many killer shows tonight in San Diego, it's hard to pick just one. However, we love our radio partners here, and FM 94/9 has been really good to us, so we'd like to say happy birthday to them as they celebrate their 12th anniversary. They joined up with Car2Go (also celebrating an anniversary -- three years) to bring a killer show to the North Park Theatre with Bear Hands and Fences. The tickets are cheap, and it is going to be a really fun and celebratory night, so be sure to drop by. Up at the Belly Up, Tinariwen, a Grammy award winning group from the Sahara Desert region of Mali, return to expand your mind, while at the Casbah, Sinkane invite you out of your comfort zone with a blend of diverse influences, from Sudanese pop to krautrock to free jazz and funk. These are just a couple of ways to make your Wednesday really count, but there's plenty more including the sold-out Erasure show at Humphrey's and indie rockers Allo Darlin' at Soda Bar. Tonight's a night you definitely want to leave the couch behind.
