I tried going to the beach this week and was freezing, but that doesn't mean that I don't have dozens of reasons to love October. Fall tours are in full swing whether you check out Pokey LaFarge at the Casbah or the awesome Jake Bugg and HoneyHoney at House of Blues. The only thing you'll be bummed about is that you'll have to miss the lovable Bob Schneider at the Belly Up and Hurray For the Riff Raff at Soda Bar. Not to mention that Olafur Arnalds is in town at the Loft at UCSD for those with an affinity for Icelandic indie music. It is a pretty stellar night of music in San Diego, so don't sit on the couch with so much great stuff at your fingertips.
