Sounds Like San Diego: October 19

Nina Persson (of the Cardigans) heads up a strong night of live music in San Diego

When there are this many great shows in San Diego, it's hard to believe it's a Sunday night. At the Belly Up, Metronomy returns to town after dropping their fourth record, "Love Letters," earlier this year. Meanwhile at Soda Bar, Argentinian Federico Aubele brings his unique fusion of singer/songwriter style with trip-hop beats. Headlining the Casbah tonight is Swedish songstress Nina Persson, who is best known as the voice of the Cardigans -- who have sold, oh, just a few million records worldwide. She's had a few different projects over the years, but just released a debut solo record so tonight is a rare chance to catch someone of such stature in an intimate setting. Still, whichever way you go, tonight is going to be a chill vibe to ease you into the workweek.
