I don't know about you, but I am so ready for the weekend. There are so many great shows, and kicking things off, there are some sweet-sounding options for Friday. At the Soda Bar, the Jealous Sound and Weatherbox lead a solid night of music, and Dan Deacon performs an all-ages show over at the Irenic, where he will certainly encourage fan participation and collaboration. I'll be heading to the Casbah to catch Bowerbirds and Strand of Oaks, since musically I tend to have quieter folk-pop leanings that these bands will surely satisfy. Our friends in the Beautiful View are over at Eleven and fan-favorite tribute band Super Diamond perform at the Belly Up, so whatever your genre, there's plenty to choose from tonight.
