Foo Fighters pull into the Cricket tonight with Cage the Elephant and Mariachi el Bronx.
For anyone who loves radio friendly modern rock, you are probably pretty excited about tonight's Foo Fighters show at Viejas Arena with Cage the Elephant and Mariachi El Bronx. If I had tickets, I'd probably be going, too, because I think the Foo's latest effort, Wasting Light, is one of their best to date. For those of you who love your dance music, you're probably pretty excited about Chromeo performing with Mayer Hawthorne down at House of Blues. I'm sure you'll have an epic night. For me, I know I'll be over at Bar Pink. The Bloody Hollies are playing a free show, and they'll be joined by Dos Hermanos, a duo from Germany who performed there last year and completely won me over with their onstage humor and their amazing way of making the instruments they bought on eBay (to eliminate the cost of flying gear over) sound like a full-blown band. I think they're great and,I think you just might, too.
