Sounds Like San Diego: Oct. 16

The Julie Ruin the Music Box (in a good way)

I know tomorrow is Monday and this weekend has already been awesome, but you definitely want to hit the town tonight, because there are some great live music options. At the Music Box, the Julie Ruin is the perfect remedy for the overt sexism plaguing our discourse these days. At the Observatory, Aussie pop-rockers Temper Trap return to town, touring their third album, "Thick As Thieves." Flock of Dimes, featuring Jenn Wasner of Wye Oak, makes her debut at Soda Bar, Poncho Sanchez is at the Belly Up or head to House of Blues for some punk rock with Yellowcard. That's a lot of sweet music to finish the weekend right.
