The Head and the Heart represent the best of new indie rock.

Back in April, I was telling you about the Head and the Heart and how their Casbah show was not to be missed. The show sold out, and in the time that has passed, the band has been all over the place and finally getting some significant radio airplay. Tonight they return to San Diego to perform at the House of Blues, and at press time, tickets were still available. Around the corner, Cut Copy perform at 4th & B and a few box seats were available, though general admission tickets are sold out. EMA is at the Casbah, Maren Parusel is at the Whistle Stop, and it's Kelsey's birthday up at the Tin Can, so let her know how appreciated her bar and booking are to the San Diego scene.
