Wednesday continues with this week's trend of multiple touring shows in one night. St. Vincent and David Byrne partnered up earlier this year to release Love This Giant, and now they perform together at Humphreys Concerts By the Bay in support of that album. Reviews of the tour have also stated that, in addition to the original material they perform together, they also cover each other's music, which should make for some interesting interpretations.
On the opposite side of the music spectrum, Kendrick Lamar has been listed many times over as the future of rap. He made XXL's coveted "Freshman Class," and performed at Coachella earlier this year with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre joining him onstage during his sets. He's performing an all-ages show at Soma in anticipation of his new record, New Kid, m.A.A.D. City, which drops on Oct. 22.
You also have Legacy Pack at the Casbah and K. Flay at the Soda Bar which are certainly worth checking out as well. Not too shabby for a Wednesday!
