Sounds Like San Diego: Oct. 27

Monday brings Spanish dreams with Jarabe de Palo sweetening House of Blues, while the Preatures set up at the Casbah, Leon Russell hits Belly Up and more

It has been really busy in this town, and maybe tonight is evidence that things are settling down for fall. Don't get me wrong -- we still have some great music tonight -- but the choices are definitely narrowing down. Head up to the Belly Up where you can catch legendary musician Leon Russell along with AJ Croce, who is opening the show. For those of you who love your rock en español, Jarabe de Palo appears at the House of Blues. At the Casbah, Aussie alt-rockers the Preatures perform, while across town at Soda Bar, you can get your skate-punk on with Counterpunch.
