Ready for a Riot in Solana Beach

One of my favorite East Coast bands is back in San Diego tonight, with Ra Ra Riot returning to the Belly Up. The band consistently returns to San Diego about once a year, and though its last release was in late 2010, I imagine they'll be testing some new tunes for release in the upcoming year. With Yellow Ostrich and Delicate Steve opening, this should prove to be a great night of indie rock at the Belly Up. If that isn't enough, the Casbah has the Scots of We Were Promised Jetpacks, who, aside from producing great music, just might have one of the best band names around. For those into the more experimental electro, Brandt Brauer Frick is on a small and rare U.S. tour and will be at Soda Bar tonight.
