Jesse LaMonaca and the Dime Novels

In today's music industry, bands have gotten pretty creative about financing their own careers instead of relying on record labels.

Last night, Jesse LaMonaca and the Dime Novels hosted a massive Texas BBQ at a private home to raise money to help release The Lament of Tumbleweed Hawk, which should now be available sometime next month. In addition to dinner, the band performed the entire record from beginning to end.

If you weren't part of the private evening, fret not, because the band is performing a free show tonight along with The Smokey Brights over at Bar Pink.
