Sounds Like San Diego: Nov. 5

If you're a regular reader of my SoundDiego columns, you know that when I like a band, I love a band to the core. One of those bands is Brooklyn's Chappo, who I first had the pleasure of seeing a couple years back at South By Southwest. On Wednesday, they're direct support for the Features at the Casbah, and it's definitely going to be magical night of rock, so if you didn't already have plans, you do now. Meanwhile, at the Soda Bar, catch Jeffrey Lewis with a full lineup of great acts, or head to the Belly Up for Shovels and Rope. Touring musical acts are slowing down as we approach the holidays, but there's no reason not to enjoy the few trickling into town while you still can.
