Sounds Like San Diego: November 5

It seems like the San Diego music scene should be calming as we get deeper into the fall, but there's no rest for the wicked on Tuesday night, with shows all over town to keep you entertained. The Casbah hosts Active Child; and, at the same time, presents White Lung over at Soda Bar; Gayle Skidmore leads a great lineup of lady-led folk at the Tin Can; and Graham Nash performs to another sold-out crowd at the Belly Up. The kids will certainly be flocking to SOMA for Hoodie Allen, while local Grammy winners Switchfoot perform at the beautiful Balboa Theatre. Another highlight of the night is the five-year anniversary of El Dorado, which hosts the French Express Tour. The guys behind the bar had a vision and certainly laid the groundwork for the craft-cocktail focus of many bars that followed, so raise a glass to what they can surely take credit for creating. A great night of music is in your forecast, no doubt.
