The Heavy Guilt are one of many incredible acts playing around town tonight.

Every week when Thursday rolls around, I say the same thing, but look at these options tonight! The Heavy Guilt playing free at West Coast Tavern! The Tree Ring, formerly known as Joel P West and the Tree Ring, are playing the first of Sezio's Four Day Weekend at Sushi Art! Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Mavis Staples is up at the Belly Up! Ingrid Michaelson is at the House of Blues! Matthew Dear is at Porter's Pub at UCSD! Massive Attack and Thievery Corporation take over Rimac Arena! Trans Am brings the rock to theCasbah! The Smithereens are at 4th & B! I mean, really? Tonight is a gold mine for someone who loves music as much as I do, but it also breaks my heart because I have to skip some things in order to do others. Hopefully I can carefully plot my night to catch at least three shows. It's gonna be tough, but it will totally be worth it.
