Sounds Like San Diego: November 3

In May of 2011, a little band from Stillwater, Okla., performed at the Soda Bar. Anyone who was there that night knew they were witnessing the beginning of something amazing. Even though they were touring on their second record, Tamer Animals, they still hadn't caught much steam. What has happened since has been very organic, and they've toured incessantly in the States and Europe on their own, then toured with Bon Iver, followed by an opening slot on a tour with a small indie band called Radiohead, and performed at festivals, including this little one in the desert called Coachella. Frankly I'm surprised the band hasn't outgrown the Casbah, but Sunday night's sold-out show just might prove to be the last chance to see them in such an intimate setting. No doubt this is going to be a special show for the history books.
