Nothing beats a long weekend amongst family and friends, and we hope that everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving. Tonight we can also give thanks for the incredible music scene in our region, with a free show at the Whistle Stop featuring the Donkeys, who blew the lid off the Office for SoundDiego LIVE back on Halloween. If you didn't get enough of the mellow vibes, tonight will be a great show to ease back into the weekend. If you're feeling particularly adventurous, grab your passport and head south of the border for a killer lineup at Black Box with the Silent Comedy headlining. It's a super cheap show and the kids in Tijuana certainly know how to put together a great night of music transcending all borders. At the Casbah, Gone Baby Gone get their first weekend headlining slot, Polar Bear Club perform and all ages show at the Irenic, and the Griffin hosts American Idol contestant Crystal Bowersox, who will likely perform her incredible rendition of "Me & Bobby McGee." All things considered, tonight would just be a silly night to stay home.
