Sounds Like San Diego: Nov. 16

City and Colour's melodic singer/songwriter sounds fill House of Blues Monday

It's hard to just act like it is a typical Monday when we reflect on the horrific acts of terrorism this weekend, but we would be a paralyzed state if we didn't find ways for the living to go on and keep living to the fullest. Music is our sanctuary, and though that sanctuary was disrupted, it will continue to be our out, our catharsis, our therapy. Monday you can head to the House of Blues for the beautiful City and Colour, or catch a local lineup with the Anomaly at the Casbah. The Belly Up and Observatory host sold-out shows, with the Green at the former and Atmosphere at the latter. We cannot pretend that our world is not a little bit different than it was, but we carry on and seek comfort in the music.
