Forgive me for being self-promotional for a minute. I've been writing online for about 15 years now, but my proudest achievement over the years is the development of my blog, San Diego: Dialed In. It was a bit of a fluke; I started it while working at an office job where I had a lot of dead time during the day, and I never expected it to grow as it has, opening up opportunities for me at the Casbah, and even getting this gig here with SoundDiego.

After six years, I am humbled by the support I've received in my endeavors and I've assembled some of my favorite bands to play a celebratory show this Thursday at the Casbah.

Perhaps you've heard a couple songs from the Howls in recent episodes of Sons Of Anarchy, or maybe you saw Trouble in the Wind at our SoundDiego LIVE show a couple months ago? I've booked Michael McGraw several times in the past couple years and just love everything about his music, and Burning Jet Black (formerly the Whiskey Saints) are one of my favorite bands from L.A. I hope that you can come celebrate six years with me and this solid lineup of music.
