Return of King James

There are a handful of musicians, maybe a dozen or so, that I personally rank among my contemporary favorites. Like if someone asked me who I'd book on my own personal dream show, certain names would pop up. One such musician is Joshua James. I first saw him by accident. He was opening for someone at the Casbah, and it was an early show, but from his very first note, my jaw was on the floor. The raspiness of his delivery, the depth of his lyrics, the way his eyes get intense as he stares down the microphone as he sings ... all these things make Joshua one of my favorite musicians ever, and tonight he'll be performing with Honeyhoney at the Soda Bar.
