I have had so many good times with Margot and the Nuclear So and So's at their shows( along with a handful of after parties). They probably don't even know it or remember me, and that is perfectly fine with me. The band has changed lineups, and there are webby rumors that there might have been some falling out among members, but, regardless, the core exists and they're touring and tonight is going to showcase their new record and their new lineup.
I'm pretty sure the band will be awesome regardless, because when it comes to indie rock, this band has their stuff together. I expect that the show is sold out at the time of this posting, but you can still check and try your luck. Either way, it's Friday in San Diego, so there are plenty of other options. Also, you should prepare for an exciting weekend of live music and get out and do it. Do not let the knob turners and button pushers win! Live music matters. Your support matters.
