Devo was scheduled to play at the Belly Up Tavern tonight. The bad news is that Mark Mothersbaugh sliced his hand and had to postpone the show until the spring. The good news is that San Diego offers such diverse talent that a great show was booked anyway -- with the Nervous Wreckords and Italian Japanese -- giving North County residents a chance to catch the bands without having to make a trek further south. Other great shows tonight include Dean & Britta at Anthology, Nosaj Thing with Toro y Moi at the Loft at UCSD, and the sold out Best Coast show tonight at the Casbah.
