The Mowgli's return to San Diego for a sold-out show at the Casbah.

It makes me kind of sad when the best show of the night is already sold out, but the Mowgli's are a fun band who have been pounding the pavement and had a couple lucky breaks along the way to get them some extra attention, so it's not really a surprise that they already sold out the Casbah. In fact, the more I talk to bands and managers and agents, oftentimes, the Casbah is the smallest venue on the tour, but they either love it so much or have heard so much about it that they play it on tour anyway, foregoing other cities with more appropriately sized rooms. So, if you have a ticket, consider yourself lucky, and if not, your backup options include Slow Magic at the Loft (not to be confused with one-hit wonder Magic!), Headphone's CD release at Soda Bar or, for the older folk who love their classics, an evening with Herb Alpert & Lani Hall at the Belly Up. For a curveball, drop by Bar Pink to find out what Ceremony Night is all about.
