Sounds Like San Diego: May 31

Leon Russell sings "one more love song" at Belly Up Tuesday

San Diego was jam-packed with live music all weekend long, but if you didn't get your fill, Tuesday night is totally happening. At the Belly Up, legendary musician Leon Russell returns, while Chicago indie rockers the Hush Sound play the Casbah. Soda Bar will be raucous with the Briefs and the Widows, and the Wind Playing Tricks lead Halloran's local night at the Merrow. A show to watch, however, is AlunaGeorge at the Observatory. She's just been slated to open for Sia's national tour this fall, and you can bet her star is rising, so catch her while you can as a headliner in the intimacy of the classic theater in the heart of North Park.
