Sounds Like San Diego: May 29

Memorial Day offerings are limited but good

Monday night's offerings are limited due to the holiday, but if you're looking to get out this Monday night, you've got a few good choices for live music. The Casbah is usually dark on Memorial Day; however, a last minute booking change means Mexican rockers DLD will now play there instead of at the Observatory, which should please the adoring fans who will now have a much more intimate experience. Meanwhile, Soda Bar will be bumping with Seattle's electonic duo NAVVI. 710 has a rare Monday night show, and Michigan folk band Frontier Ruckus are joined by Jesse LaMonaca & the Dime Novels at Blonde for a foot stomping good time.
