I want to apologize for the lack of listings on Monday, but as I warned on Sunday, there were only a few shows, so hopefully after you celebrated Memorial Day, you were able to find some live music around town. Tuesday is another story, however, as there are some great shows worth catching. Kicking off the list, former San Diegan Greg Laswell returns to town in support of his latest release, Landline. Laswell has always been one of my local favorites, and you'd be well served if you caught him at the Belly Up. Over at the Griffin, Seattle indie-rockers Barcelona return to town. The last time they were here was at Sunset Sessions and it was a private show, so you should try to catch them if you can. Finally K.Flay, a San Francisco musician who has been getting some heavy radio rotation locally, will be at the Casbah, where bartender Ben Johnson will open the show as his hip-hop alter ego, Grammatical B.
