    NEWSLETTERS

It's such a great weekend in San Diego! We have so much going for us in this town for the holiday weekend that it's a great opportunity to make your own music crawl. The Gaslamp is hosting a free all-day music festival at bars and venues all over the area by day, and by night all of the EDM kids can go nuts at the My Life Every Day two-night experience at Valley View Casino Center. The Casbah hosts the second night of the Ugly Things 30th anniversary, and the Belly Up has a sold-out show with Cold War Kids. Personally, I'm looking forward to fun times at Bar Pink with River City and Boy King to go with the always cheap drinks, though Soda Bar and the Void are pretty tempting, too. If you're feeling especially adventurous, head south of the border to see bands like the Beautiful View and Black Hondo as they perform at Black Box, a really amazing spot in Tijuana on Sixth and Revolucion. I must say, it is an all around great day to be a San Diegan.
