Exile on Park Boulevard

In case you haven't heard, the Rolling Stones head to town Sunday night

Tonight is the show that everyone is talking about, whether they are ecstatic to be attending or cringing at the spectacle. I personally have never seen the band, but I certainly tried my luck at buying tickets for the small L.A. show at the Fonda. Alas, I suppose I will live my life having never seen these living legends. Expect congestion and parking problems and underserved public transportation (Sunday schedules for MTS are the pits), so plan ahead, make a day of it, call a rideshare and expect to linger around downtown long after the last note is played. Around town, GBH performs at the Casbah while dueling punk night with Negative Approach goes off at Soda Bar. For something free and a little different, drop by Balboa Park as Civic Organist Carol Williams performs for 12 hours for charity.
