It is days like this when I realize I have my hands in several cookie jars, so it's hard not to promote the events that I'm tied closely to. In this latest instance, I am producing the Antengo Main Stage at the North Park Festival of Arts, and I know that I booked a solid lineup of talent, but I just hope that the familiarity of the local bands (or that the festival is free) is enticing enough to come spend your Sunday in North Park. This is the 16th year of the festival (and the third that I've been involved), and it's always a great time with the music, the dance, the arts, the crafts and, of course, the Craft Beer Block (which will cost you $35 for beer and food tasting). After the festival, there are great shows at the Belly Up, the Casbah and Til-Two Club that can keep you going all night long.
