Tonight is one of those nights where you might want to pick your destination by drawing from a hat, because if you're a fan of one of these shows, you'd probably be inclined to like the others, too. At the Casbah, Joe Pug brings his gorgeous voice-beyond-his-years, along with Strand of Oaks and local Gayle Skidmore kicking off the night. Over at the Soda Bar, S Carey of Bon Iver just might get upstaged by opener Other Lives, whose latest release is a beautiful piece of work. The Shivers play their second of three nights in San Diego with a show tonight at the Habitat House, and Bangladesh will inspire over at Eleven. It's a good night for music, and that doesn't even touch Tin Can, Anthology, Riviera, Lestat's and elsewhere.
