North Park Is Throwing a Party

Let's start with a disclaimer: I am the main stage producer for this year's North Park Festival of Arts. I was asked to help out by booking the lineup, and how could I say no?

I booked some of my favorite local acts and a couple of surprises, too. Besides the main stage, there are four other stages for your listening and visual pleasure, an arts & crafts area for kids, juried art, a craft beer garden, vendors and tons of food. The festival is free and takes place in the heart of North Park, on University Avenue between 30th and 32nd streets. San Diego's new Park2Park shuttle will be running, or you can ride your bicycle and park it at the free bike valet. There is truly something for everyone at this community event, and yet another way to enjoy San Diego's beautiful weather.
