    NEWSLETTERS

This week has been taxing for all San Diegans. The record-breaking temperatures, coupled with the fires and evacuations, can really start to feel overwhelming. Fortunately, music is always here to heal your soul and clear your mind. For ticketholders to Friday's show at the Casbah, they'll certainly be greatful as Sean Lennon and his band, the Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger, return with a new record, a full band and certainly some obsessive fans. If you didn't snag a ticket, dance to the cumbia and bossa nova sounds of La Santa Cecilia at Soda Bar, or if you really want to blow of some steam, head to Tower Bar for Castle or catch the album release of St. Cloud Sleepers at Tin Can -- check out our Spotlight video here. Lots of joyful music to be had to take your mind off of the stress of the local news.

    Friday, May 16:

    St. Cloud Sleepers Wake Up

    St. Cloud Sleepers Wake Up
The guys from St. Cloud Sleepers are on the same brain-wave when it comes to their unique brand of "lounge punk." Get your head out of the clouds, sleepyhead, and check out the band and their video for "Our Crew" in this week's SoundDiego Spotlight. (Published Sunday, May 11, 2014)
