Sounds Like San Diego: May 15

It's the midddle of the month and it seems like the May Gray may finally be catching up with us after a gorgeous weekend turned into a wicked hot Monday and a cooldown on Tuesday. It really doesn't make a difference, because even if there's some coastal fog, anyone attending this Wednesday's Green Flash Concert Series at Birch Aquarium is going to be thrilled to see Alpha Rev and Bob Schneider. Both are headlining acts in their own right, and though Alpha Rev has only been here a handful of times, Bob Schneider is a seasoned veteran and has quite a loyal following. His latest single is super catchy and might even gain him some new ears with all of the radio play it is destined to receive. Over at the Casbah, a local lineup will tickle your eardrums headlined by Blacktop Royalty, while the Griffin rules the night with Filligar and locals Dead Feather Moon supporting. It's a good night to get out because, well, what else are you gonna do?
