It's Tuesday night, and while touring bands are few and far between as perhaps they're all ramping up for summer, there's always San Diego music to keep your feet tapping, your head bouncing and your ears ringing. The Casbah has an all-local lineup headlined by Chula Vista's Animal Steel, who promise a sound ranging from heavy like Queens of the Stone Age to epic ballads in the vein of the Killers. Supported by Okayokay, East of Sweden and St. Cloud Sleepers, this is your chance to check out new San Diego bands. At Ruby Room, Tori Roze hosts her weekly night, Cathryn Beeks hosts Local Brews, Local Grooves at the House of Blues, and Inspired and the Sleep headline the local Tuesday down at the Griffin.
