Sounds Like San Diego: May 13

The Wombats come all the way from Liverpool to play House of Blues on Wednesday

Wednesday night brings several quality choices to get over the hump, but no venue has a more thorough lineup than the House of Blues. The Wombats [read SoundDiego's interview with them here] have made the journey to San Diego more than a few times over the years, and every show gets better, sweatier and more fun. With support from the jangly Life in Film and Philly's hazy pop of Cheerleader, you're going to want to arrive early enough for the openers. If that isn't your jam, Wayne the Train Hancock returns to the Casbah, The Junk Poets get it on at Soda Bar, and Taurus Authority return to their Bar Pink residency.
