Sounds Like San Diego: March 7

San Diego has seen nothing but clear skies this weekend, which is perfect because there are plenty of ways to enjoy the sunshine while supporting local causes and events. Saturday is the Spring Busker Festival at Seaport Village, and just around the corner is the Best Coast Beer Fest at Embarcadero Park South. By evening, head over to the grand opening of Quartyard, where shipping containers have been converted into vendor spaces, bars and a stage where you can catch sets by Madi Diaz and Swim Team. Around town, Viet Cong are sold out at Soda Bar, Schitzophonics break in the Balboa on its opening weekend, and Nahko & Medicine for the People play at the Observatory North Park.
