Sounds Like San Diego: March 6

Around SoundDiego headquarters, we certainly love music. We all have different genres we prefer, but one thing all of us can agree on is that we especially love our homegrown talent pool. On Friday, we're getting a special dose of local music and local beer when the Observatory hosts Reader on Tap. With local acts like the Burning of Rome, Blackout Party, Nervous Wreckords and more, this event will be proof that talent abounds in our fair city. Of course, there are other great shows in town, too, like the Crawdaddys at the Casbah for the older rocker crowd and Eleanor Friedberger of Fiery Furnaces at Whistle Stop. Friday is also the official grand opening of the Balboa (formerly the Tin Can), with live sets from Ed Ghost Tucker and Idyll Wild.
