Sounds Like San Diego: March 29

The month is winding down but the music just keeps picking up. We can all rejoice that the weekend is here and that we have so many great options for live music at our disposal. My pick of the evening is certainly at the Casbah, where Caveman perform in anticipation of the release of their self-titled album that drops on Tuesday. I'm especially excited to once again see Pure Bathing Culture, a dreamy Portland band who performed here in December. It's hard to rule out other shows, however, because locals Hills Like Elephants are celebrating their album release at Bar Pink with friends Barbarian and Keith Sweaty. Around town, Grampadrew performs at Tin Can after an adventurous time at SXSW, Living Colour perform their classic album, Vivid, at the Belly Up, and Tech N9ne headlines the House of Blues. Pretty great Friday ahead, huh?
