Sounds Like San Diego: March 28

After a long work week, you can wind down on Friday with some fine craft beer at the Banker's Hill Art & Craft Beer Festival, for sure, but after that, there's plenty of music to really kick off the weekend. The Used and Taking Back Sunday perform to a sold-out crowd at the House of Blues, while Being As an Ocean perform with a lot of great other bands upstairs at the 5th Avenue Sidestage. Bad Sports bring their pop-punk sound from Texas to Soda Bar, and Neighbors to the North and Chess Wars rock Seven Grand. No doubt the show San Diegans will be flocking to, though, is Transfer at the Casbah. Joined by Okapi Sun, Hong Kong Fuzz and Octagrape, this is a fun Friday showcase of all the bands we've watched blossom over the years, in current form or from other bands, and it's great to plan a night to just let loose with some locals.
