In the past two weeks, SoundDiego has been proud to bring some diverse, talented acts to the La Jolla Playhouse, and our next show will be no exception. The energetic and eclectic Nikka Costa performs at the venue Wednesday night -- get tickets here -- and is certain to bring down the house with her mix of soul, blues, folk and a little bit of funk for good measure. Around town, "America's Funnyman" Neil Hamburger returns to the Casbah, Galactic perform at the Belly Up (with Corey Glover of the band Living Colour joining their ranks) and the Used have a special in-store performance at Best Buy in Mission Valley to celebrate the release of their new record, Vulnerable, which was released on Tuesday.
