It's finally Friday night, and I'm heading out to Las Vegas to welcome Transfer back after an extensive European tour. The band is appearing for four nights at the new Cosmopolitan Hotel, so if you're heading to Sin City, be sure to check them out at their free shows. I'm hoping to bump elbows with Brandon Flowers, if I'm lucky. While I'm gone, your San Diego music scene has plenty to offer, with great touring bands like Miniature Tigers and Pepper Rabbit at the Casbah, Ha Ha Tonka and Hoots & Hellmouth at Soda Bar, or you can catch any host of bands at our dozens of other great venues around town. Have a drink for me, and I'll catch you on the flip-side.
