CHAPPO Rolls into the Casbah

While I was running around Austin, I was trying to make sure I stumbled upon new bands as well as following some of my favorite San Diego bands. CHAPPO had reached out about their San Diego show, but I decided to catch them at Elysium while at SxSW, and as I mentioned last week, I was blown away. The band is unique, with some pschedelic flourishes, some dance beats, and a 100 percent amazing performance. You can catch them tonight for free at Bar Pink -- I suggest you don't miss them. I'll be bouncing between Bar Pink and West Coast Tavern, if you'd like to tag along. Perhaps I'll buy you a mule.
