Sounds Like San Diego: March 2

Monday gets snappy with Crocodiles at the Hideout's one-year anniversary party, while No Joy hails at Soda Bar

The end corner of the block at 35th and El Cajon has seen some upheaval over the past several years. Since Zombie Lounge sold, the little City Heights bar has undergone remodels and various owners with the Radio Room, Eleven, and the Void, but in its current iteration as the Hideout, I definitely believe this one will stick for years to come. The vibe is friendly. The live music is great, and on off nights you can still catch a local crowd hanging out. This week the bar is celebrating its one-year anniversary with some cool shows every night. On Monday, San Diego-formed Crocodiles return along with Colleen Green and Keepers, and you can expect this lineup to fill the room. Around town, No Joy is at Soda bar, and Gone Baby Gone headline Anti-Monday League at the Casbah.
