There aren't many touring bands in town tonight, which means it's a good night to go out and discover your new favorite local band. Whether it's the dreamscape rock of A Scribe Amidst the Lions at the Casbah, the blues rock of Family Wagon at Soda Bar or the soulful roots rock of the Heavy Guilt opening for Stepping Feet up at the Belly Up, your local venues are full of San Diego greats, so support local music in town as I do the same across state lines at SxSW in Austin.
