There are plenty of great options for your Friday night in San Diego. Our good friends Bostich + Fussible of Nortec Collective are performing at 4th & B, Dead Meadow rocks the Casbah, and John Waite of the Babys and "Missing You" fame performs tonight at Anthology. There is also special show, For the Sender, taking place at Lestat's. For the Sender is headed by Alex Woodard, and consists of songs inspired by letters of praise, tales of hardship and stories of cathartis received from fans. The resulting songs are put together by the likes of Sean and Sara Watkins, Jon Foreman and others. The first For the Sender event at the Paloma Theatre sold out, so get to this one early if you want to catch the show.
