Wednesday's offering up some great options to get you over the hump of your week. Drive-By Truckers, mainstays in the alternative-country world, perform at the Belly Up. Truckers front man Patterson Hood is not only a respected musician, but a huge music fan who can be credited with discovering new bands from the Shoals region of Alabama such as current buzz-band Alabama Shakes. Over at Anthology, you can catch the second night of Bela Fleck & the Flecktones' jazz and bluegrass fusion with an early or a late show. Meanwhile, the Casbah is hosting a benefit for local musician and cancer survivor Gino M. with a night of local tribute acts that are a cut above your typical dive-bar cover band. Whatever you decide to do, get out and enjoy one of tonight's great offerings.
